We Are Open Every Wednesday in Southeast Michigan
NexusDetroit is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that through Ministry provides peace of mind by supplying Free Food, Community Resources, Housing Support and Training Opportunities.
We have over 60 dedicated volunteers and in partnership with over 30 Organizations, Churches and Businesses that support those in need.
With the support of Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church, who allow us to use their parking lot and facilities and Forgotten Harvest, who provides the food which allows us with the opportunity to support Detroit.

Our Philosophy
Our Mission is to impact the Brightmoor community by Representing Jesus Christ and that will change the lives of Detroit residents. This will be accomplished by reducing hunger, the crime rate, increasing relevant information distribution, social involvement and community revitalization to promote the importance of families staying connected.
Our History
We started August 17th,2011 at Mt. Vernon MBC. We are a Team of dedicated children of God focusing on showing love to those in need. Each Director has his or her own Business or Endeavors but has committed thierselves to making a positive impact on Detroit residents concerning Food, Housing and Self Empowerments.
