Our Feeding Program is located at the Nexus Detroit Community House every Wednesday, where we distribute free food to those with the required annual income. We also provide Job Opportunities, Informational Workshops, Housing Placement, Sustainability, Mental Health Awareness for Youth, Domestic Violence Awareness, and renewable Energy Workshops. We partner with Forgotten Harvest, which provides food for the feeding program.
We are located at 15042 Burt Rd. Detroit, 48223 (South of Fenkell, North of Outer Drive). Wednesday’s at 2:30 – 5:30 pm or until all food has been distributed.

Nexus Detroit is a non-profit organization that provides peace of mind to the Brightmoor community by supplying free food, community resources, housing support, training opportunities, donations, and contributions.

Our Mission is to impact the Brightmoor community by representing a compassionate spirit that will change the lives of Detroit residents. This will be accomplished by reducing hunger and the crime rate, increasing relevant information distribution, social involvement and community revitalization to promote the importance of families.
